Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Schimt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Topue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Topue is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: aint no rest for the wicked. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Schimt.
Schimt misses with a series of wild punches.
Schimt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circling - Schimt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Topue shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schimt pinned against the cage. Schimt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Topue tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Topue has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Topue goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Schimt has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Topue but great work by Schimt.
Schimt has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Topue postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Schimt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Topue, into his guard.

Topue throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schimt's waist but Schimt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Topue off to one side.

Topue tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schimt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Topue somewhat.
