Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers comes into the arena with I'm Your BoogieMan blaring out of the sound system. Bill West told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Myers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill West!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but Myers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
West moves into the clinch.
Myers pulls guard.
West trying to control but Myers is working from the bottom.
Myers is trying to keep West in close.
Myers looking to hit a scissor sweep but West is one step ahead there.
West wants to control from the top but Myers keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. West is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Myers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take West's back instead.
West turns into Myers and is now in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Myers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Myers looking for a guillotine here but West defends easily.
Myers controls West momentarily but West frees himself.
Myers wants to sweep here but West controlling him for the moment.

West is sitting in close to Myers's body. Myers has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! West is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, West is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Myers.
