Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
selcinji closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eduardo circles away.
selcinji has a takedown stuffed.
selcinji fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for piroa selcinji. That's going to take a lot out of him.
selcinji closes the distance and clinches up with Eduardo, looking for a takedown. selcinji pushes Eduardo against the cage but Eduardo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
selcinji shoots in for a double leg but Eduardo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Eduardo dodges the punch combination from selcinji.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eduardo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Eduardo wants to stand but selcinji has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Eduardo trying to control the position from guard on top but selcinji is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Eduardo gets to his feet - selcinji follows without any prompting.
selcinji leaves Eduardo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Eduardo counters with a single leg into guard. selcinji didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eduardo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Eduardo counters with a takedown into side control.
selcinji on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if selcinji tries to get out of the position.

Eduardo decides to stand up, so the ref orders selcinji to his feet.
selcinji shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Eduardo finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
selcinji doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Eduardo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Eduardo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. selcinji did well to prevent Eduardo getting side control.

Eduardo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. selcinji looks calm but he's in trouble here. Eduardo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. selcinji is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Eduardo lets go of the hold and selcinji can pop his arm back in it's socket.
