Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anton Sarus! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herberg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sarus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Herberg throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Herberg in side control, throwing shots but Sarus defends. Herberg happy to just control the position for now. Herberg throwing strikes but Sarus manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Herberg is looking to regain half guard here but Sarus keeps moving and retains side control. Herberg is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Herberg sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Sarus tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Herberg. Herberg is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sarus pulls his head out easily. Herberg trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Herberg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sarus's waist but Sarus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Herberg off to one side. Herberg shoots in but Sarus avoids the takedown attempt easily. Herberg fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johan Herberg. That's going to take a lot out of him. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Herberg misses with a takedown attempt - Sarus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A swing and a miss from Herberg. Sarus gets a clinch. Sarus slaps away a takedown attempt from Herberg, before circling back to the center of the mat. Herberg gets the takedown into side control. Herberg is looking to take a break and control but Sarus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Herberg throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Herberg landing strikes. Sarus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herberg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Herberg working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sarus is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Herberg is controlling him well. Herberg throws a strike aimed at the side of Sarus's head but Sarus avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sarus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Herberg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Herberg trying to control but Sarus is working from the bottom. Herberg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sarus being controlled here, momentarily. Sarus keeping moving, preventing Herberg from controlling successfully.

Sarus moves out of range of the strikes. Anton Sarus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Herberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sarus. Sarus fails in his attempt to clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Herberg shoots in for a takedown but Sarus shows good takedown defense. Herberg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sarus pinned against the cage. Sarus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johan Herberg. I think Herberg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
