Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Rhodes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wayne Sillvestre!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sillvestre gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Sillvestre breaks from the clinch.
Rhodes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sillvestre throws a looping overhand right but Rhodes ducks down to avoid it.

Sillvestre rushes Rhodes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sillvestre tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rhodes avoids it.
Rhodes working hard to break the clinch.
Rhodes is pressed up against the cage. Sillvestre has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rhodes down to the mat. Rhodes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
James Rhodes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sillvestre has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rhodes throws a nice looking combination but Sillvestre bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rhodes scores with a jab to the head.
No joy there for Rhodes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rhodes throws a body punch but Sillvestre moves out of range.
Rhodes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sillvestre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rhodes fails to land with a series of punches.
Sillvestre shoots in for a takedown but Rhodes shows good takedown defense.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sillvestre is defended easily by Rhodes.
James Rhodes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Sillvestre.
Rhodes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sillvestre. Sillvestre obviously looking to wear him down.

Sillvestre shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rhodes as he avoids it easily.
James Rhodes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sillvestre looks gassed!
Rhodes lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Sillvestre can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Rhodes and Sillvestre drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Rhodes.
