Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Stomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akio Yumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yumi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stomi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yumi lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Takanori Stomi has been cut.
Stomi fails with the takedown.
Yumi tries to close the distance and clinch but Stomi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stomi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yumi sprawls well. Yumi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stomi gets slowly back to his feet.
Akio Yumi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
