Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Rikishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rikishi has chosen USA nuked my parents, I want revenge as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Andrews! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Rikishi! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rikishi gets the takedown into side control. Rikishi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Andrews tries to improve position but can't. Rikishi tries to move to full mount but Andrews actually manages to regain half guard. Andrews slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Andrews looking for a sweep. Not yet Andrews, not yet. Rikishi wants to control from the top but Andrews keeps moving. Andrews looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rikishi tries to free his leg and advance position but Andrews is retaining full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Andrews is looking for a triangle but Rikishi pushes his legs off easily.
Rikishi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rikishi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rikishi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Andrews was covering up waiting for the punch and Rikishi finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rikishi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Andrews is keeping the position for now.

Rikishi being controlled here momentarily. Rikishi wants to pass the guard but Andrews is keeping the position. Rikishi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Andrews looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Andrews looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Andrews! Andrews wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rikishi keeps working. Andrews working away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rikishi is looking to regain half guard here but Andrews keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rikishi looks gassed! Andrews thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Andrews working the ground and pound. Andrews working the head with strikes. Andrews tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Andrews has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Andrews tries to advance to mount but Rikishi denies him. Rikishi can't do much from the bottom here. Andrews in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rikishi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Andrews wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rikishi takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Rikishi tries to control but Andrews manages to take his back. Rikishi is trapped and Andrews is scoring with shots to the head and body. Rikishi just trying to survive but Andrews is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Rikishi staying busy and making it hard for Andrews to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rikishi trying to control the action but Andrews just sinks the hooks in. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rikishi rolls, trying to escape but Andrews keeps control of the position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Hiro Rikishi just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rikishi is looking to clinch. Rikishi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Andrews. Rikishi instigates a clinch. Rikishi throws an elbow that misses.
Rikishi creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Nice elbow from Rikishi. Rikishi lands an elbow inside. Andrews avoids a wild elbow strike from Rikishi. Andrews scores with a shoulder strike. Andrews trying to control the position but instead, Rikishi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Andrews into the ropes. Rikishi on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrews pulls guard. Andrews looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Rikishi looking to sit in guard and control but Andrews gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rikishi is looking for a triangle but Andrews pushes his legs off easily.
Andrews has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Andrews lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Andrews content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Andrews cracks Rikishi with a solid left hand. Andrews chips away with some ground and pound. Rikishi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Andrews! Rikishi is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Andrews has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Andrews! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rikishi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Andrews is aware though and is defending well. Andrews got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rikishi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Andrews has managed to get both his arms back between Rikishi's legs - danger averted. Andrews scoring with punches to the head and body. Andrews keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rikishi's head. Rikishi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Andrews defends well. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Andrews shoots in for a takedown and gets it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Andrews dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Andrews connects with a nice short shot to Rikishi's temple. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Andrews drops an elbow to the side of Rikishi's head. Rikishi wants to get back to full guard. Andrews is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Andrews doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Andrews manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rikishi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andrews gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Andrews scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Andrews throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rikishi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rikishi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Andrews! Rikishi tries to control but Andrews wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rikishi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Andrews is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Andrews and Rikishi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

He's hooked one of Rikishi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rikishi's back!

Andrews lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Andrews is trying to stick to Rikishi's back but Rikishi is turning into Andrews. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Andrews's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rikishi. Hiro Rikishi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rikishi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Andrews swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rikishi trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrews is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Andrews rushes Rikishi and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Andrews is trying to stall.

Andrew Andrews is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rikishi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Andrews showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Andrews, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
