Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smasher Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Blubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money comes to the ring accompanied by Gives You Hell. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blubber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Money sprawls well. Money wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blubber gets slowly back to his feet.
Blubber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Money but Money pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown by Blubber or perhaps it was just good defense by Money which made him look bad.
Smasher Money has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boy Blubber.

Money is trying to trip Blubber. He has hold of a leg but Blubber is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Money persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Money is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Blubber can't fight it off and eventually Money manages to take the fight to the floor. Blubber looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Money 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Blubber has his foot on Money 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Money works his way back into a safe position though.
Money wants to stand but Blubber has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Blubber can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Money controls the pace.

Money got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blubber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Money has managed to get both his arms back between Blubber's legs - danger averted.

Blubber had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Money is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blubber Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Money 's back instead.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Money is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Blubber gets his way!
