Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Doan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane has chosen Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cristiano Cane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, James Doan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cristiano Cane! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doan shoots in for a takedown but Cane shows good takedown defense. Cane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Doan doesn't manage to clinch there - Cane circles away.
Doan moves in looking to clinch but Cane pushes him off. Cane circles away from the clinch attempt.

Doan tries to close the distance and clinch but Cane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. That's one minute gone in the round. Doan feints and as Cane raises his hands in defense, Doan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Doan looking to pass the guard. Doan controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cane working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Doan. Doan prevents Cane from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cane working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Doan. Doan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doan controls from within his opponent's guard. Doan works over Cane with some ground and pound from guard. Doan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Doan is looking to work some ground and pound but Cane has wrist control. Doan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Cane keeping moving, preventing Doan from controlling successfully. Doan postures up in Cane's guard and throws a big left but Cane blocks it. Doan throwing strikes from guard but Cane blocks nicely.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cane lands a glancing blow to the side of Doan's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cane lands a jab to the head.
Doan shoots in for a takedown but Cane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cane misses with a series of wild punches.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cristiano Cane dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Doan wants to clinch. Doan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Doan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Doan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Doan. Doan has Cane up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doan with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Doan tries a knee to the head but Cane blocks it.

Cane wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cane blocks an elbow strike from Doan.

Cane is trying to break free. Cane is trying to force a seperation but Doan has the dominant position. Cane has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Doan tries a knee to the head but Cane blocks it.
Cane takes an elbow to the temple. Cane dodges an elbow strike from Doan.
Doan tightens his grip and picks Cane up, before dumping him to the ground. Cane manages to land in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cane works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Doan throwing strikes from guard but Cane blocks nicely. Cane working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Doan. Cane wants to get back to his feet but Doan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Doan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Doan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Doan wants to clinch. Cane moves out of range of the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Doan dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Doan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Doan throws a body kick that misses. Cane lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Doan wants to clinch up but Cane keeps it at a distance. James Doan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cane pinned against the cage. Cane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Doan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Doan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Doan throws a strike but Cane avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Doan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Doan throwing strikes but missing. Cane looking to control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cane lands a really nice looking cross but Doan seems unphased.
Cristiano Cane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Doan drops his hands momentarily and Cane takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Cane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Doan is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cane keeps the fight on the outside. Doan ducks straight into an uppercut from Cane and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Doan maanges to regain guard straight away.
Oh Doan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Doan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Doan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cane's back instead. Doan seems to have got his legs back now. Doan avoiding Cane 's attempts to control his hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Doan controlling the positon. Cane controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Cane rolls, trying to escape but Doan keeps control of the position.
Doan is looking for the choke from the back position but Cane is controlling his hands well.
And that's the end of the fight! Cristiano Cane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Cane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
