Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anselmi Samara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miksu Rupunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rupunen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anselmi Samara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miksu Rupunen! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rupunen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Samara looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Samara keeping moving, preventing Rupunen from controlling successfully. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Samara will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

A big left from Samara misses. Rupunen misses with a takedown attempt - Samara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nice sprawl there from Samara as Rupunen shoots in. Samara decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
