Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ulmes Balta!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips shoots in and drives through. Balta sprawls well.
Balta shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Phillips looks to land a body kick but Balta moved away.
Balta has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Phillips moves in looking to clinch but Balta pushes him off.
Phillips is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Phillips instigates a clinch.
Phillips wants to get back to striking at distance but Balta won't allow it.
Balta working aggressively here.
Balta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Balta avoids a kick to the body.
Phillips has a takedown stuffed.
Balta closes the distance and clinches.
Balta lands with a short head shot on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Phillips wants to break free but Balta has control.
The is referee keeping an eye on Balta - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Balta tries to pull guard but Phillips holds him up against the cage and eventually Balta drops back down to his feet.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Balta scores with a shoulder strike.
Phillips stalling in the clinch but Balta improves position.
Balta looking for a takedown.
Ericksson Phillips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ulmes Balta.
Balta's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Balta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Phillips.
Balta attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ericksson Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phillips closes the distance but Balta moves to the side
and Balta counters with a straight right hand.
Nice takedown defense from Balta. No joy for Phillips on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Balta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Phillips tries to clinch up
and Balta counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Phillips is breathing heavily.
Balta throws a quick head kick that knocks Phillips silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Balta is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
