Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Doug Marsh! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas. Thomas tries to clinch but Marsh moves out of range. Michael Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thomas closes the distance and clinches up with Marsh, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes Marsh against the cage but Marsh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Thomas shoots in and drives through. Marsh sprawls well. Thomas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marsh as he jumps to the side. Thomas throws a series of punches but Marsh moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thomas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown but Marsh shows good takedown defense. Thomas misses with a series of wild punches.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marsh as he jumps to the side. Marsh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thomas! Marsh working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Thomas is rocked!
It looks like Michael Thomas has been cut. Thomas is breathing heavily. Marsh lands a big elbow - Thomas is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Thomas is forced to tap out!
