Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aidan Conway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Larry Johnson! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conway gets in close and instigates a clinch. Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Aidan Conway has been cut. Johnson drags the fight down to the ground.
Conway trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Conway stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Conway from controlling successfully. Johnson controls Conway momentarily but Conway frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Conway trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conway. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Conway feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Conway changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Conway pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conway trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Conway got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Conway has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted. Johnson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Conway wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Johnson controls Conway momentarily but Conway frees himself. Conway passes Johnson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Conway is working away from the top position though. Johnson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Conway uses his free foot to push down on Johnson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Johnson. Conway gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Conway shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Johnson has his takedown stuffed and Conway counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Johnson is lucky that one didn't land flush. Conway is breathing heavily. Johnson shoots and misses and Conway counters with a head kick. Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Conway tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Conway counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Aidan Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Johnson. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Conway is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Johnson is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to hold on but Conway pushes him away. Johnson is just holding on here. Conway manages to take his back.
Johnson is trying to get back to his feet but Conway has full control of the position and if anything, Johnson has just worked his way into a worse spot. Conway keeps control of the position as Johnson tries to break free.
Conway is not going to allow Johnson to sit and survive in this position. Conway wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Johnson looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Johnson is trying to break free.
Johnson is trying to stand back up. Johnson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Conway scores with punches to the body. Johnson can't escape the position.
Conway is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Johnson taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Conway.
