Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caio Bagetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Beckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bagetti comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Get up, stand up. Caio Bagetti has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Bagetti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Beckerman! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagetti fails to land the takedown. Beckerman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Beckerman throws out a loose jab but Bagetti uses good head movement to avoid it. Bagetti defending well as Beckerman loads up on a big left hand. Bagetti fails to land the takedown. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bagetti checks a leg kick. Bagetti looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beckerman is fending him off so far but Bagetti persists. Nope, Beckerman circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caio Bagetti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beckerman jabbing away but nothing is landing. Beckerman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bagetti moves out of range as Beckerman strikes. Beckerman misses with a straight right. Bagetti ducks under a wild hook from Beckerman. Bagetti shoots for a takedown but Beckerman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beckerman looks to throw the jab but Bagetti is out of range. Beckerman throws a leg kick but Bagetti moved away. Beckerman is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Bagetti checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bagetti uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beckerman. Bagetti slips a straight right by Beckerman. Bagetti tries to close the distance and clinch but Beckerman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagetti fails with a takedown attempt. Beckerman misses with a leg kick. Beckerman misses the jab. Bagetti tries for a takedown but Beckerman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bagetti moves out of range of the strikes. Beckerman missing with a left hand there. Bagetti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bagetti uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Beckerman. Bagetti uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Beckerman. Bagetti walks into a jab. Beckerman looks to land a left hand but Bagetti moved out of range nicely. A slow jab from Beckerman misses its intended target. Bagetti closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bagetti lands in his opponent's guard. Beckerman seems keen to control Bagetti's posture. Beckerman keeping moving, preventing Bagetti from controlling successfully. Bagetti will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beckerman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bagetti drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bagetti jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Beckerman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bagetti looking to pass the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A big left from Beckerman misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bagetti uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beckerman. Beckerman throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bagetti decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Beckerman gets back to full guard.
Bagetti is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Beckerman is adopting a defensive guard. Bagetti drops back looking for a leg! Beckerman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beckerman manages to kick Bagetti off! Bagetti jumps back into Beckerman's guard. Bagetti is breathing heavily. Beckerman wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bagetti stops Beckerman from standing up. Beckerman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Beckerman misses with an uppercut. Bagetti saw that one coming. Bagetti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bagetti accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Beckerman managing to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Let's hope that Beckerman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Beckerman wants to sweep here but Bagetti controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Caio Bagetti will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Beckerman throws the left hand but Bagetti avoids the punch easily. Beckerman stuffs the takedown attempt from Bagetti. Bagetti gets slowly back to his feet. Bagetti uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Beckerman. Bagetti moves in looking to clinch but Beckerman pushes him off. Bagetti shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Beckerman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bagetti is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beckerman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bagetti trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bagetti is in close to Beckerman's body, working some short punches and elbows.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Beckerman misses with a low kick as Bagetti jumps back. Beckerman throws a big shot that misses. Beckerman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bagetti sees it coming and avoids it easily. Scott Beckerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bagetti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beckerman. Bagetti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Caio Bagetti is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Beckerman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A big right from Beckerman misses. Scott Beckerman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bagetti tries for a takedown but Beckerman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bagetti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bagetti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beckerman is just holding on here. Bagetti manages to take his back.
Beckerman has hold of Bagetti's leg, trying to break free but it's let Bagetti lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Beckerman is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Bagetti throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
