The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bolao has time to react.
Thomas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thomas cracks Bolao with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Thomas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bolao to stand back up!
Bolao is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bolao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thomas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bolao closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Thomas is pushing Bolao's head away, looking to escape. Bolao manages to hold on to the position though.
Bolao trying to control the action but Thomas is working from the bottom.
Thomas managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bolao.
Bolao prevents Thomas from escaping the position.
Thomas is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bolao off and has taken his back!
Bolao is in bad spot here.
Thomas lands shots from the back.
Thomas drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Bolao is in real trouble here! Thomas lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Thomas is delighted!
