Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between dmack hitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxwell has chosen Basket Case as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
hitter tries a head kick but it misses.
Maxwell avoids the head kick by hitter.
hitter throws a head kick but Maxwell moves out of range.
Maxwell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Maxwell drives through and clinches with hitter against the cage.
hitter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maxwell pulls guard effortlessly.
Maxwell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Maxwell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Maxwell has hold of hitter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and hitter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Maxwell cracks hitter with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing hitter from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

hitter's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well Maxwell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
