Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Popeye Orion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orion misses with a wild combination.
Orion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nelson sprawls well. Nelson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Orion gets slowly back to his feet.
Orion fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nelson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Orion will feel that in the morning.
Orion misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nelson wants to clinch up but Orion keeps it at a distance.

Nelson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Orion's guard.

Orion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nelson's guard.

Orion has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nelson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Orion.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well Nelson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
