Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zod's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kneel Before Zod. Rogers has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers takes a swing at Zod's ribcage but misses.
Zod tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rogers swats away the attempt to clinch by Zod.
Zod misses with a takedown attempt - Rogers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rogers throws a series of punches but Zod avoids them all with ease.
Zod fails to land the takedown.
Zod throws a right hand that Rogers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rogers also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogers waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Zod.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zod scores a takedown into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rogers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rogers is squirming around, avoiding Zod's attempts to control the action.
Zod unloading with bombs!
Rogers defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Zod.
You get the feeling that Rogers really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Zod connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogers wants to control but Zod is having none of it.
Zod controlling the pace for now.
Rogers is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zod postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rogers looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Zod.
Rogers is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zod looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Rogers is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zod is landing with some decent strikes but Rogers is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Rogers is still in real trouble! Can Zod finish him?
Zod looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Rogers covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). General Zod!
