Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vandelay fails with a takedown attempt.
Count Chocula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vandelay takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Vandelay showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chocula.
Chocula scores with a push kick.
Chocula lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Art Vandelay has been cut.
Vandelay has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Vandelay shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chocula defends it nicely.

A head kick lands from Chocula that sends Vandelay to the canvas. Vandelay tries to scramble back to his feet but Chocula brings him back down into side control.

Oh Vandelay is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chocula in side control lands a decent elbow.

Chocula lands a few punches from side control.
Vandelay seems to have got his legs back now.
Chocula scores with punches from side control.
Chocula lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Vandelay manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chocula's best efforts.
Chocula wants to work for an arm triangle but Vandelay is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chocula landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Chocula seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vandelay does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chocula is looking to advance position but Vandelay won't allow it.
Chocula is looking to take a break and control but Vandelay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vandelay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Vandelay blocks a head kick by Chocula.
Chocula throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chocula rushes Vandelay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chocula putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Vandelay in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Chocula breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice body kick there by Chocula.
Chocula darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Art Vandelay's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chocula shoots in and bounces Vandelay off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chocula would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Chocula pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vandelay is keeping the position for now.
Vandelay is looking for a triangle but Chocula pushes his legs off easily.
Vandelay is trying to keep Chocula in close.

Chocula stands up over Vandelay, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Vandelay is not content to let Chocula control the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chocula looks to land a combination but Vandelay avoids it well.

Chocula misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
