Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Vidal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vidal comes to the cage accompanied by Dead End Countdown. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Vidal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chase Bryant! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant shoots in but no luck this time. Bryant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vidal. Bryant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vidal lands a head kick. Bryant smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Chase Bryant has been cut. Vidal shoots in for a takedown but Bryant shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vidal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bryant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vidal paws at him with a jab and circles away. A big right from Bryant misses. Bryant stuffs the takedown attempt from Vidal. Vidal gets slowly back to his feet. Bryant shoots for a takedown but Vidal saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bryant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Vidal. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vidal is defended easily by Bryant. Bryant clinches up against the cage. Vidal tries to break the clinch but Bryant is controlling the position. Vidal decides to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vidal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bryant preventing the sweep. Vidal is trying to keep Bryant in close.
Bryant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vidal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bryant wanted to stand there but Vidal had control of the position. Vidal looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bryant puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Vidal is trying to maintain the position but Bryant is very close to passing his half guard. Bryant decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bryant misses with a wild combination.
Bryant tries to clinch but Vidal moves out of range. Bryant throws a hook but Vidal avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Bryant as Vidal shoots in. Bryant throws a lazy head kick and Vidal counters with a big head kick but Bryant shrugs it off. Vidal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bryant. Bryant looks gassed! Vidal throws a leg kick which misses Bryant's front leg but catches the back leg as Bryant tries to avoid it. Vidal pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Vidal counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bryant's guard now. Vidal looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vidal trying to control but Bryant is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bryant can do anything to dispel that myth. Vidal looking to pass the guard. Vidal is working hard here to advance position. Vidal wants to control from the top but Bryant keeps moving. Vidal pushing down on Bryant's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vidal is trying to control. Bryant wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bryant has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vidal finds it's way round the side to connect with Bryant's head. Bryant tries to bum rush Vidal with a series of wild strikes but Vidal uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bryant throws a body punch but Vidal moves out of range. A shot to the body from Bryant misses and Vidal counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Vidal moves nicely into side control. Vidal wants to control but Bryant is keeping him busy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vidal is trying to get an arm triangle but Bryant is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Vidal dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chase Bryant's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Whack! Vidal lands a heavy head kick that drops Bryant. The ref tackles Vidal to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Bryant was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). John Vidal!
