Hayes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, eye of the tiger. The key to victory for Johnboy Hayes has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Anderson moves into range and clinches up with Hayes.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hayes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hayes lands in his opponent's guard.

Hayes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Anderson or not.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hayes.

Hayes has picked Anderson up - he's going for a ride! Hayes dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
