Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Can Tun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan has chosen Daite Senorita as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Can Tun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yamapi Chan! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tun looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Tun trying to control the action but Chan is working from the bottom. Chan tries to get to full guard but Tun has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chan trying to control here.
Chan is looking to escape. Tun trying to control the action but Chan is working from the bottom. Chan is trying to maintain the position but Tun is very close to passing his half guard. Chan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tun. Tun stops Chan from getting back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chan tries a head kick but it misses.
Tun pushes Chan up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Chan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chan tries to clinch up. Chan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Chan throws a head kick that misses. Chan throws a lazy head kick and Tun counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chan! Chan tries to hold on but Tun pushes him away. Poor strikes thrown by Tun there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Tun can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chan is looking to escape. Tun blocks Chan's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Chan swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Chan can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tun working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan tries to reverse the position but Tun maintains control. Tun wants to control the pace but Chan is squirming around nicely. Tun is breathing heavily. Chan tries to hold on but Tun pushes him away. Chan squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Tun wants to control the pace but Chan is squirming around nicely. Tun looking to finish Chan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chan!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Chan gets full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chan holds on and takes a little breather. Tun would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Chan wriggles free and stands up. Chan drives through with a takedown into guard. Chan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chan with a flurry of punches that miss. Chan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tun avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Chan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Chan trying to control but Tun is working from the bottom. Tun tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick from Chan lands but Tun takes it in his stride. Chan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tun counters with a good low kick that Chan was not able to check. Chan tries a head kick but it misses.
Tun lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chan takes a step back to recover. Chan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Can Tun will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Chan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tun shoots in and bounces Chan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tun stops Chan from standing up. Chan keeping moving, preventing Tun from controlling successfully. Tun tries to free his leg and advance position but Chan is retaining full guard. Chan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tun is aware though and is defending well. Tun wants to get up but he can't break Chan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Chan is trying to keep Tun in close.
Tun is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Chan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tun is looking to defend but Chan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tun! Chan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tun taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Yamapi Chan!
