Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsu Shozo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shozo comes to the cage accompanied by Five Ninety. Mac is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Gatta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac avoids the head kick by Shozo.
Shozo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mac tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shozo swivels and escapes.
Jay Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Shozo as Mac shoots in.
Shozo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mac to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Shozo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mac on the ground.
Mac tries to free his leg and advance position but Shozo is retaining full guard.
Shozo wants to get back to his feet but Mac is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mac works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mac looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Shozo is trying to escape back to his feet but Mac uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Mac is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Shozo is trying to escape and Mac transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Shozo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mac! Very nice indeed!
