Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, qwerty man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glass Joe! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! man moves in looking to clinch but Joe pushes him off. Joe circles away from the clinch attempt.
man tries to clinch up but Joe circles away and keeps his distance. man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Joe drives through with a takedown into guard. Joe thows a big elbow that misses. Joe looking to pass the guard. Joe controlling from the top position. Joe won't allow man to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Joe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Joe wants to control from the top but man keeps moving.

Joe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joe on the ground. Joe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but man is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Joe fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Joe tries for a kimura but man is defending well. man wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Joe is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Joe advances to mount. man really wants to buck Joe off and get back to his feet. man is squirming around, avoiding Joe's attempts to control the action. Joe with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Joe is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but man is surviving well by controlling Joe's body position as best he can. Joe punching from mount but man doing a good job of avoiding damage. man squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but man manages to avoid the submission attempt. Joe is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. man knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Joe swats away the attempt to clinch by man. The fight stays on the outside here - man looks like he's thinking about clinching though. man doesn't manage to clinch there - Joe circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. man tries to close the distance and clinch but Joe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Joe keeps the fight on the outside. man tries to clinch there but Joe circles away.

Glass Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
The fight stays on the outside here - man looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Joe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming man to the mat! man manages to get full guard. Joe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Joe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Joe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Joe trying to control the action but man is working from the bottom. Joe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. man is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Joe asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by man, who protects the arm well. Joe passes to full mount! That's big trouble for man! Joe wants to control the pace but man is squirming around nicely. man is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Joe misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
man is squirming around, avoiding Joe's attempts to control the action. Joe wants to finish this one by submission but man is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Joe. Joe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as man is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. man stops Joe from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Joe working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. man is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Joe looking to control and managing it successfully. Joe is working for a guillotine from mount but man frees his head quite easily.
Joe is going olschool here, as he tries to force man to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so man shrugs it off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. And that's the end of the fight! Glass Joe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Joe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
