Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paavo Nurmi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dav Cee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nurmi comes to the cage accompanied by Suomalainen. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paavo Nurmi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dav Cee! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nurmi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cee somewhat. Cee looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Nurmi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cee did well to prevent Nurmi getting side control. Nurmi is looking to advance position but Cee won't allow it. Nurmi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nurmi wants to control but Cee is keeping him busy. Nurmi wants to free his trapped foot but Cee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Nurmi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cee sees it coming and defends easily. Nurmi is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Cee has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nurmi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cee defends it well. Nurmi is working for a submission of some sort.
Nurmi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cee wants to control but Nurmi is keeping busy.
Nurmi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cee doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nurmi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cee is looking to escape. Nurmi moves nicely into side control. Nurmi lands a decent elbow from side control. Cee is trying to buck Nurmi off. Cee is trying to control Nurmi's posture but Nurmi avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nurmi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cee has escaped the position, nice work there. Nurmi tries to move into full mount but can't pass Cee's legs. Nurmi swings around for an armbar but Cee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nurmi's guard. Nurmi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nurmi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nurmi working for a triangle but Cee defends it easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cee has eaten all the pies! Nurmi keeping full guard, as Cee tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paavo Nurmi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nurmi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nurmi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Cee is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nurmi is controlling him well. Nurmi lands some shots froms side control. Cee takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Nurmi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nurmi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nurmi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cee! Cee tries to reverse the position but Nurmi maintains control. Cee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Nurmi looking to secure an arm triangle but Cee defends it well. Nurmi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cee is now in Nurmi's guard. A big mistake from Nurmi there, giving up the dominant position! Cee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nurmi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cee defends well. Nurmi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nurmi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nurmi looking for a guillotine here but Cee defends easily.

Paavo Nurmi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nurmi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nurmi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cee wants to stand but Nurmi has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Nurmi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paavo Nurmi dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Cee misses with a takedown attempt - Nurmi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nurmi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cee did well to prevent Nurmi getting side control. Nurmi uses his free foot to push down on Cee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cee. Nurmi looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Nurmi is working for a guillotine from mount but Cee frees his head quite easily.
Cee is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cee in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Cee wants to control but Nurmi is having none of it. Nurmi moves to the back position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nurmi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Nurmi is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Cee won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Nurmi off his unconscious opponent!
