Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the ring accompanied by God Save the Queen. Martin Stone had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Murray! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murray stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Murray. Murray gets slowly back to his feet. Stone walks into a stiff left hand from Murray. Murray fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stone. Murray scores with the left hand. Stone knows he should have avoided that one. Stone gets the takedown into side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stone is looking to take a break and control but Murray is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Murray taking punishment in the form of punches.
Murray gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Stone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Murray doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stone. Murray misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Murray with the active half guard here but Stone passes nicely into side control. Murray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. An elbow from Stone crashes against the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murray is trying to improve his position. Murray is not content to let Stone control the position. Stone working the head and body with strikes. Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murray on the ground. Murray takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
It looks like Ross Murray has been cut. Stone tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stone trying to control the action but Murray is working from the bottom. Murray is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Stone has just dragged him back down to the mat. Murray is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murray wants to improve his position but Stone is controlling well.
Stone landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Murray gets back to full guard.

Stone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murray is keeping the position for now. Murray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Murray wants to improve his position but instead Stone has moved into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Murray tries to roll over but Stone keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murray makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Murray. Stone scoring with punches to the head and body. Murray looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stone slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Murray. Murray looks gassed! Murray is refusing to be controlled, as Stone sits in half guard. Stone is really struggling to control Murray but he's trying to hold on to the position. Stone lands strikes from half guard.
That has opened up Ross Murray's cut even more. Murray punching from the bottom.
Stone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Murray's head. Murray tries to kick Stone off but Stone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murray misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Stone working over Murray with some ground and pound. Murray looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stone seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Murray missing with punches from the bottom.

Stone stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Murray to get to his feet. Murray fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Murray misses with a takedown and Stone counters with a three punch combo that has Murray backing up. Murray nods at Stone to acknowledge the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Murray throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. Stone throws a series of punches but Murray moves out of range. Stone looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Murray throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Murray's guard. Stone lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to control from the top but Murray keeps moving. Murray throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stone works over Murray with some ground and pound from guard. Murray tries to land a sweep but no joy. Murray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stone is working Murray over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Murray trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Murray is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stone is aware though and is defending well. Murray is looking to sweep but instead, Stone has passed into half guard.
Stone gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's six minutes gone in the round. Murray takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Murray is trying to defend but Stone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stone tries to stand and escape but Murray is controlling the position. Murray looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nice strikes from Stone there. Murray taking some punishment here, with Stone in his half guard. Murray is trying to get back to full guard. Murray is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stone scores with a couple of nice shots. Murray looking for submissions off his back. Stone drops an elbow to the side of Murray's head.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stone wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Stone scores with a decent looking hook.
The cut above Ross Murray's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Nice uppercut there from Stone. Murray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stone lands a jab to Murray's midsection. Murray takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Murray gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stone to score an easy takedown into full guard. Murray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Murray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Murray looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Stone lands a couple of elbows. Stone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Murray throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Murray is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stone is aware though and is defending well. Stone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Murray wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment. Stone scoring with some ground and pound. Stone stands up over Murray, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murray avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stone thows a big elbow that misses. Stone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Murray works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stone trying to control but Murray is working from the bottom.
That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Murray throws a right and a left that Stone avoids nicely. Murray lands with a cross. Murray fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stone lands a body shot.
Murray throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range. Murray lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stone backs up against the ropes.
Murray throws a left and a right that both miss
and Murray takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Murray works Stone's body with a nice hook. Murray gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Murray isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stone stacks Murray on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stone! Stone tries to move to mount but Murray blocks the move with his legs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone misses with the ground and pound. Murray manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Stone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ross Murray's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Stone looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Murray has his takedown stuffed and Stone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Murray's guard now. Murray is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stone defends well. Stone connects with a couple of short punches. Stone postures up and lands a big shot to Murray's brow. Stone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Murray, up you get! Murray connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stone. Stone circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Murray with a hook. Stone tries to bum rush Murray with a series of wild strikes but Murray uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Murray throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stone on the side of the head. Murray scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Stone loads up on a big right hand but Murray slips the punch. Murray jabs Stone right on the nose. Stone blinks but takes it well. Murray lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body punch from Murray. Murray lands a lovely overhand right. Murray takes a swing at Stone's ribcage but misses. Murray swinging wilding here.
Stone throws a series of punches but Murray moves out of range. Stone looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murray is keeping the position for now. Murray trying to strike off his back.
Stone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Murray has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Stone is looking to defend but Murray has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Stone! Murray pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Stone taps out and this one is all over!
