Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Candy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Candy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andre Giant! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giant tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Giant has Candy up against the ropes in a clinch.
Candy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Giant.
Giant tries to pull guard but Candy won't allow it.
Giant manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Giant is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Giant wants to sweep here but Candy controlling him for the moment. Candy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Candy wants to control from the top but Giant keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Giant trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Candy. Candy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Giant as he avoids it easily. John Candy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Giant moves into the clinch successfully.
Giant tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Candy smiles and moves away.
John Candy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Giant. Candy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Giant as he avoids it easily. Candy looks to clinch and Giant moves into the clinch. Giant is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Giant tightens his grip and picks Candy up, before dumping him to the ground. Candy manages to land in guard. Giant wants to control from the top but Candy keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Giant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Candy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Giant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Candy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Giant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Candy keeping moving, preventing Giant from controlling successfully. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Candy darts in trying to clinch and Giant counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Giant escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Candy gets caught flat footed, as Giant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Candy looking for a sweep. Not yet Candy, not yet. Giant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Candy swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Giant advances to half guard. Candy is trying to stand up here but Giant is controlling him well. Candy won't allow Giant to pass to mount. Candy is not content to let Giant control the position. Giant looks gassed! Candy throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Giant seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Giant circles away from the clinch attempt.
Candy closes the distance looking to clinch and Giant holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Giant tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Candy just stands there and leans against the ropes. Candy lands an uppercut. Candy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Giant looking to stall.
Candy ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Candy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Candy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Giant is one step ahead there. Candy wants to stand and escape but Giant is having none of it.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Candy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Giant trying to control but Candy is working from the bottom. Giant landing some decent shots from guard. Candy wants to stand but Giant is controlling the position. Candy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Giant is one step ahead there. Giant wants to control from the top but Candy keeps moving.
That's six minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Giant stands up over Candy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Giant is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Giant trying to control but Candy is working from the bottom. Giant wants to stand but Candy is controlling his posture from full guard. Giant wants to control from the top but Candy keeps moving. Giant is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Giant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Candy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Giant won't allow Candy to sweep him here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Candy shoots in but Giant avoids the takedown attempt easily. Candy shoots for a double leg takedown but Giant sprawls well. He's pushed Candy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Giant clinches. Giant gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Giant trying to control but Candy is working from the bottom. Giant stops Candy from standing up.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Candy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Giant postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Giant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Giant connects with a couple of short punches. Candy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Giant can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Giant won't allow Candy to sweep him here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Giant clinches. Candy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Giant has him pressed against the ropes.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Candy tries a knee to the head but Giant blocks it.
Giant breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Giant misses with a wild body shot. Giant scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Giant looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Candy misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Giant is keen to just control but Candy is a slippery customer. Candy is looking to improve his position.
Giant is taking a breather. Candy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Candy tries to roll over but Giant keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Giant dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Giant shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Candy sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Giant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Candy keeps working. Giant decides to return to a standing position. Giant rushes Candy and presses him up against the ropes. Giant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. Candy is trying to force a seperation but Giant has the dominant position. Giant trying to control the position but instead, Candy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Giant into the ropes. Giant stalling against the ropes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Giant pulls Candy into guard.
Candy trying to control but Giant is working from the bottom. Giant looking to control.
Candy wants to stand but Giant is controlling his posture from full guard. Giant looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Giant looking for a sweep. Not yet Giant, not yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Giant can do anything to dispel that myth. Candy wants to pass the guard but Giant is keeping the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Candy gets caught flat footed, as Giant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Candy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Giant is aware though and is defending well. Giant sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Candy's guard. Giant is stalling here. Candy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Giant seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Candy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Candy trying to control the action but Giant is working from the bottom. Giant stops Candy from passing to mount. Giant tries to buck Candy off but Candy is having none of it. Giant misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Candy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Giant, who protects the arm well. Candy is looking to take a break and control but Giant is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Candy moves out of range of the body kick from Giant.
Giant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Giant wants to control from the top but Candy keeps moving.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Giant has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Candy is proving hard to escape from. Giant content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Giant wants to stand but Candy is controlling his posture from full guard. Candy pushes Giant off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Giant clinches. Candy has a couple of punches blocked by Giant.
Giant breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Candy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Giant to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Giant wants to control from the top but Candy keeps moving. Candy striking off his back but it's not causing Giant any problems. Giant stops Candy from standing up. Candy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Giant is one step ahead there. Candy trying to control the position.
Giant trying to control the position from guard on top but Candy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Giant must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Giant is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Giant scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Giant is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Giant tries to stand and escape but Candy is controlling the position.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Candy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Giant gets to his feet. Candy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Giant shoots in for a takedown but Candy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Candy throws a right and a left that both miss. John Candy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Giant instigates a clinch. Giant jumps guard but Candy stands there with Giant around his waist. Giant gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Giant prevents Candy from breaking the clinch. Giant escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Giant throws a jab when Candy was well out of range. Candy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Giant closes the distance and clinches.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Giant misses with a short punch on the inside. Candy tries to land a knee to the head but Giant blocks with his arms.
Giant wants the takedown. Candy is fighting it off but Giant persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Candy's guard against the ropes. Candy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Candy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Andre Giant has got the better of the ground game so far. Giant is looking for a sweep. Candy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Giant wants to control but Candy is keeping busy and won't allow it. Candy passes to full mount! Candy lands a heavy elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Andre Giant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Giant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
