Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rosca Papelao!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papelao tries to clinch up but Matheus circles away and keeps his distance.
Papelao fails in his attempt to clinch.
Papelao scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Papelao lands a head kick. Matheus smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Matheus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Papelao stops Matheus from passing to mount.
Matheus is working to tighten is grip on Papelao's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Papelao has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Matheus is really squeezing tight and eventually Papelao passes out! Matheus breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
