Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bullet Bookem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kfier Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bookem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Solitaire Unraveling. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asher feints and as Bookem raises his hands in defense, Asher changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Asher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bookem will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bookem looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bookem is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
