The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong fails with a takedown attempt.
Emerson just misses with a punch to the body.
Wong fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Emerson defending well as Wong loads up on a big left hand.
Wong takes a swing at Emerson's ribcage but misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Emerson. That snapped Wong's head back.
Emerson misses with a wild body shot.
Emerson throws a nice looking combination but Wong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Emerson looks to land a right hand but Wong moved out of range.
Wong tries to clinch but Emerson is having none of it.
Wong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wong fails with a takedown attempt.
Emerson misses with a low kick.

Emerson misses with a two punch combination.
Emerson misses with a jab to the body
letting Wong counter with a right hand.
Wong wants to clinch up but Emerson keeps it at a distance.
Emerson throws a hook but Wong avoids it easily.
Wong throws a good cross that connects.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wong.
Ralph Waldo Emerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor Wong.
Wong missing with a left hand there. Emerson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Emerson scores with a jab to the head.
Emerson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wong drops his hands momentarily and Emerson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A swing and a miss from Wong.
Emerson ducks under a wild hook from Wong.
Emerson lands a left and a right that send Wong crashing to the mat, dazed. Emerson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wong is rocked!
It looks like Connor Wong has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Emerson finds Wong's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Wong flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Emerson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Wong will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ralph Waldo Emerson!
