Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laudrup comes into the arena with Zoo Station blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hans Laudrup! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimbo Johnson! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson looks for a takedown but Laudrup sprawls well. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Laudrup is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Laudrup is keeping the position for now. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Laudrup is looking to stand up but Johnson isn't so interested in that idea. Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Laudrup slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard. Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Laudrup trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson striking off his back but it's not causing Laudrup any problems. Laudrup is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laudrup thows a big elbow that misses. Laudrup preventing the sweep. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Laudrup pushes his legs off easily.

Laudrup is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Laudrup pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet. Laudrup trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson controls Laudrup momentarily but Laudrup frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Laudrup from controlling successfully. Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Johnson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Laudrup's face.
Johnson is going olschool here, as he tries to force Laudrup to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Laudrup shrugs it off. Johnson breaks from Laudrup's wrist control and lands an elbow. Laudrup tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away. Laudrup is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Johnson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Johnson has control of Laudrup's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Laudrup regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Laudrup is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laudrup is working to get back to half guard.
Johnson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Johnson extends the arm and Laudrup is forced to tap!
