Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a head kick but Cano moves out of range.
Cano lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cano shoots in and bounces Emelianenko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Emelianenko is looking to stand up but Cano isn't so interested in that idea.
Cano seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Cano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Emelianenko is keeping the position for now.
Emelianenko is trying to keep Cano in close.
Emelianenko looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cano puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Emelianenko tries to roll over but Cano keeps him under control.
Cano is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Emelianenko is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
