Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacari Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacari Drake!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Drake tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drake looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Drake's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Drake is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Drake is looking to regain half guard here but Silva keeps moving and retains side control.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Silva tries for a kimura but Drake is defending well.

Drake stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Drake closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Drake counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Jacari Drake dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jacari Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva tries for a takedown but Drake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
