The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ono scores with a takedown into Herrera's guard.
Herrera looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Herrera is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Herrera is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ono is trying to maintain the position but Herrera is very close to passing his half guard.

Ono manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Herrera manages to get himself to full guard.
Ono is in close to Herrera's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ono is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Herrera is looking for a triangle but Ono pushes his legs off easily.

Ono gets to his feet - Herrera follows without any prompting.

Herrera darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ono is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Herrera's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Herrera's back!

Ono keeps control of the position easily here as Herrera tries to buck him off.
Ono gets his hands free as Herrera looks to control.
Ono lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Ono controlling the position well here. Herrera rolled but Ono kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Ono wants to control but Herrera is keeping busy.
