The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa shoots for a takedown but Mayweatherre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mayweatherre closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Balboa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Balboa is looking to improve his position.

Balboa tries to kick Mayweatherre off but Mayweatherre keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mayweatherre uses his free foot to push down on Balboa's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Balboa.
Balboa can't escape the position.
Balboa tries to lock up and control but Mayweatherre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
