Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pate Rakko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Connoly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connoly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit. Pate Rakko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Connoly but Connoly pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Connoly throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Connoly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rakko tries for a takedown but Connoly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rakko shoots in for a double leg but Connoly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pate Rakko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Connoly stuffs the takedown.

Rakko is breathing heavily.

Rakko is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Connoly has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Connoly!
Connoly tries to stand but Rakko is controlling from the bottom.
Rakko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Connoly controls the pace.
Connoly trying to control the position from guard on top but Rakko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rakko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Connoly defends well.
Connoly gets to his feet. Rakko looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Connoly darts in and clinches Rakko up against the cage.

Connoly shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Connoly was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rakko wants to hold on but Connoly pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Connoly tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rakko regains half guard.
Connoly is thwarting Rakko's attempts to control the position.

Connoly seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Connoly wants to stand but Rakko has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Connoly is keen to just control but Rakko is a slippery customer.
Rakko is looking to control Connoly's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rakko avoid being mounted?
Rakko moves into full guard.
Rakko has his foot on Connoly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Connoly works his way back into a safe position though.

Rakko is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Connoly has his hands clasped together but Rakko extends an breaks Connoly's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rakko.
