The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahoinen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Ahoinen tries a head kick but it misses.
Binto lands a nice shot that snaps Ahoinen's head back.
Binto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Ahoinen wants to control the pace but Binto is squirming around nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Ahoinen counters with a nice double leg into guard.

and Ahoinen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Binto's guard now.

Ahoinen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Binto works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ahoinen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Binto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ahoinen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ahoinen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Binto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Binto keeping moving, preventing Ahoinen from controlling successfully.

Ahoinen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Binto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ahoinen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ahoinen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Binto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ahoinen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ahoinen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Binto's head.
Ahoinen lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ahoinen is looking to advance position but Binto has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Ahoinen tries to lock up and control but Binto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Binto throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Binto avoids the attempt from Ahoinen to control.
Ahoinen tries to control Binto's body but Binto pushes him off. Ahoinen squirms to his side and now Binto has his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ahoinen holding both Binto 's hands and preventing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Ahoinen shoots in for a double leg but Binto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Binto fails with a takedown attempt.
Binto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Binto tries to close the distance and clinch but Ahoinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Binto lands a head kick. Ahoinen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Binto gets caught flat footed, as Ahoinen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Binto looking for a guillotine here but Ahoinen defends easily.

Ahoinen is really struggling to control Binto but he's trying to hold on to the position.

I would just about give that final round to Heavy Binto.
