Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ste Mash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mash's entrance music is Blue Men Group - Time to Start. A fine choice. James Steve looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ste Mash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Steve ! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mash lands a head kick!
Steve takes a kick to the side of the head. Steve fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steve fails in his attempt to clinch. Steve tries to clinch up but Mash circles away and keeps his distance. Mash clinches up with Steve and pushes him back against the cage. Mash stops a takedown attempt from Steve .
Mash manages to break the clinch.
Steve closes the distance looking to clinch and Mash counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mash throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mash misses with the head strike.
Mash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mash forces Steve back against the cage and clinches. Mash tries to break the clinch but Steve is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve digs a right hand underneath Mash's ribcage. Mash let out a lung full of air as it connected. Mash misses with a knee strike.

Mash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mash tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steve paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mash prevents a body shot from Steve . Mash manages to break the clinch.

Steve tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Mash counters with a solid body kick. Steve tries to clinch up and Mash moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mash throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steve stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Steve jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steve wants to get back to his feet but Mash passes into half guard.
Mash is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Steve kicks Mash off and gets back to his feet. James Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steve tries to clinch up and Mash counters with a nice low kick that buckles Steve 's knee momentarily. Steve looks gassed! Mash is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mash lands a high kick!
Steve closes the distance looking to clinch and Mash counters by moving into the clinch. Mash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mash circles away from the clinch attempt and Mash counters with a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steve misses with a takedown attempt and Mash counters with a body kick that stops Steve in his tracks momentarily. Mash gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mash stalls. Steve takes a knee to the side of the body. Mash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mash scores with a nice head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mash gets a clinch. Mash slowing the pace effectively. Mash breaks from the clinch.
Mash closes the distance and pushes Steve back into the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ste Mash dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Steve wants to clinch but Mash slips to the side and Mash holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mash breaks the clinch.
Steve looks to clinch and Mash counters with a head kick. That will keep Steve thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Mash throws a sloppy head kick and Steve moves out of range easily. Steve takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Steve wants to clinch and Mash counters with a nice body shot. Mash moves into the clinch. Mash works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Mash crunches a lovely knee into Steve 's ribcage. Steve is breathing heavily. A nice right hand lands inside from Mash. Mash working some nice short punches in the clinch. Mash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mash clinches but Steve breaks the clinch and Steve moves into the clinch.

Mash throws a leg kick which misses Steve 's front leg but catches the back leg as Steve tries to avoid it. Mash moves into the clinch. Mash with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Steve takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mash with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Mash dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Steve . That did some damage! Mash lands a high kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mash closes the distance and clinches.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mash looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mash has closed the distance and engaged Steve in a clinch.

Mash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mash moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off. Steve has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Mash. Mash instigates a clinch. Steve has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mash uses from the top position. Mash landing with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mash controls from within his opponent's guard. Ste Mash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Steve working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mash. Mash is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. James Steve has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Ste Mash showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
