Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Packer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yates comes to the cage accompanied by Village People - Y.M.C.A. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elliot Yates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ken Packer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Packer tries to clinch but Yates moves out of range. Yates gets in close and instigates a clinch. Packer being controlled against the cage. Yates is trying to break the clinch but Packer is controlling him. Yates taking a breather. Packer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Yates just stands there and leans against the cage. Packer is pushing Yates up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Packer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Yates lands a left hand.
Packer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Packer throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Packer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Packer wants to clinch. Yates rushes Packer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Packer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Yates is keeping busy. Packer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Yates looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Packer landing knees to the head.
It looks like Elliot Yates has been cut. Packer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Yates prevents it.
Nice body punch from Packer. Yates wants a takedown.
Packer keeps control of Yates as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Packer tries to pull guard but Yates holds him up against the cage and eventually Packer drops back down to his feet.
Elliot Yates has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Packer. Yates is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Yates fails to pull guard.
Packer lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Yates breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yates throws a jab when Packer was well out of range. Packer shoots in and bounces Yates off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Packer thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Packer stopping the sweep attempt from Yates. Packer lands a couple of elbows. Packer passes into half guard. Packer sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Packer wants to take a breather but Yates is having none of it. Yates is looking to get back to is feet but Packer passes into side control.
Yates tries to bench press Packer off him but Packer keeps the position. Yates takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
A lull in the action here as Packer stalls from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yates tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Packer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Yates can't do much from the bottom here. Packer trying to control the action but Yates is working from the bottom. Yates takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Packer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Elliot Yates's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Yates tries to clinch but fails miserably and Packer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Packer. Packer sitting in guard here, content to control. Packer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Yates, up you get! Packer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Yates throws a right and a left that Packer avoids nicely. Yates darts in and clinches Packer up against the cage. Yates's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Packer fails with a takedown attempt. Yates rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Packer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Yates misses with a double jab
and Packer counters by clinching up. Yates is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Packer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yates content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Packer pulls guard successfully.
Yates with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Packer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Packer keeping moving, preventing Yates from controlling successfully. Yates has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Packer is proving hard to escape from. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Packer holds on and takes a little breather. Packer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Packer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yates can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Yates sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Packer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Yates is trying to stand up here but Packer is controlling him well. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Yates is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Packer scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yates actively working from the bottom here. Packer controlling the action here. Yates missing with punches from the bottom.
Yates is in trouble now - Packer has advanced to mount! Packer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Packer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Yates?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Packer working Yates over with strikes here. Packer gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Packer shoots in but Yates avoids the takedown attempt easily. Elliot Yates is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Packer lands a high kick!

and Yates counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yates. Yates is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Yates goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Yates tries to pull guard but Packer holds him up against the cage and eventually Yates drops back down to his feet.
Packer is trying to drag Yates to the mat but Yates just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Elliot Yates has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Packer. Yates's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Packer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Elliot Yates's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Packer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yates's waist but Yates gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Packer off to one side. Yates takes a kick to the side of the head.
Yates is rocked! Packer steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Yates is out on his feet! Packer sets himself and nearly takes Yates's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ken Packer!
