Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kulich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kulich's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Meat Plow. Washington comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2pac and Biggie - 2010 R-Tistic Remix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Troy Washington has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Kulich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Troy Washington! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Kulich misses. Kulich takes one to the side of the head.
Kulich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kulich throws the left hand but Washington avoids the punch easily. Washington defending well as Kulich loads up on a big left hand. Washington shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Washington was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kulich somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Washington avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kulich keeps the fight on the outside. Kulich lands a really nice looking cross but Washington seems unphased.
Washington connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Washington misses with a double jab
and Kulich counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kulich throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Washington closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Washington is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Washington is looking to advance position but Kulich won't allow it. Kulich kicks Washington off and gets back to his feet. Kulich misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A combination from Kulich does no damage. Kulich stuffs the takedown. Kulich throws a lazy right hand but Washington sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Washington shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kulich defends it nicely. Washington moves out of range of the strikes.

That's going to take a lot out of Troy Washington. Washington shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kulich as he jumps to the side. Kulich misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Washington.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kulich defends it well. Washington looks gassed! Kulich is trying to stand up here but Washington is controlling him well. Washington seems to be working for a kimura but Kulich defends the submission attempt. Kulich is not content to let Washington control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kulich tries to kick Washington off but Washington keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kulich is looking to get back to is feet but Washington passes into side control.
Washington thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Washington is looking to take a break and control but Kulich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kulich pushes Washington away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Washington gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Washington fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Troy Washington will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Washington displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kulich throws out the jab. Washington gets the takedown into side control. Washington tries to move to mount but Kulich blocks the move with his legs. Kulich is pushing Washington's head away, looking to escape. Washington manages to hold on to the position though. Kulich prevents Washington from improving position. Washington goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kulich has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Washington but great work by Kulich. Kulich tries to stand but Washington is controlling his head. Washington sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kulich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Washington's head. Washington is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulich tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Washington. Washington is controlling Kulich's position as best he can from this difficult position. Washington wants to control the action here but instead Kulich manages to pass to full mount! Washington regains half guard. Kulich wants to stand up but Washington is controlling the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Washington wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Washington is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kulich's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kulich's back! Kulich fending off the submission attempt from Washington. Washington working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Well, with Washington on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Kulich is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Washington looking for the RNC. Kulich defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Washington's arms.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kulich holding both Washington 's hands and preventing any damage. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Washington's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kulich fending off the submission attempt from Washington. Washington looking for the RNC. Kulich is trying to get back to his feet but Washington has full control of the position and if anything, Kulich has just worked his way into a worse spot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kulich showing good submission defense here.

Troy Washington showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Washington will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Washington wants to clinch up but Kulich keeps it at a distance. Kulich leaves Washington with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kulich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Washington. Kulich throws a right hand that Washington ducks under and follows up with a left that Washington also avoids with ease. Washington shoots for a double leg takedown but Kulich sprawls well. He's pushed Washington's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Danga de danga de dang - Kulich scores with a four punch combination! Troy Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Washington 's head but he takes it in his stride. Mark Kulich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Washington closes the distance and clinches up with Kulich, looking for a takedown. Washington pushes Kulich against the cage but Kulich circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kulich lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

That's better than Washington was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kulich is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Kulich wants to get back to his feet but Washington drags him back down. Kulich prevents Washington from moving into mount. Kulich explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Kulich swats away the attempt to clinch by Washington. Kulich misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Washington.
Washington has his takedown stuffed and Kulich counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kulich lands an overhand right. Donk. Kulich catches Washington right on the button with a cross. Washington doesn't manage to clinch there - Kulich circles away.
Washington feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Washington passes into half guard. Kulich is looking to escape. Washington is looking to advance position but Kulich won't allow it. Washington is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kulich is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Mark Kulich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
