Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poke closes the distance and clinches up with ansari, looking for a takedown. Poke pushes ansari against the cage but ansari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Poke darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

ansari manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Nice takedown defense from Poke. No joy for ansari on that attempt.
Poke shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. ansari is trying to defend but Poke finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Poke wants to get up but he can't break ansari's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

ansari has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Poke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

ansari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Poke tries to free his leg and advance position but ansari is retaining full guard.

That's time! Poke's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
ansari shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Poke as he avoids it easily.
ansari gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Poke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for ansari on the ground.
ansari is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Poke has his hands clasped together but ansari extends an breaks Poke's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by ansari.
