The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan feints and as Montazelli raises his hands in defense, Khan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Khan tries to free his leg and advance position but Montazelli is retaining full guard.
Montazelli preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Montazelli is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Khan scores with a couple of nice shots.
Khan is looking to advance position but Montazelli won't allow it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Khan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Montazelli sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Khan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Montazelli is just riding it out for now. Khan eventually gives up the hold.

Khan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Khan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Montazelli is rocked!
Khan cracks Montazelli on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Montazelli falls backwards against the cage. Khan follows up with more strikes that drop Montazelli to his knees. Khan keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Montazelli! This one is all over!
