Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cloudy Q Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cloudy Q Dawkins!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane fails to land the takedown.
Kane wants to clinch up but Dawkins keeps it at a distance.
Dawkins throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dawkins circles away.
Dawkins stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Kane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dawkins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kane's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kane lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dawkins can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dawkins pushes Kane off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Kane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dawkins tries to lock up and control but Kane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dawkins slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Dawkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kane is working away from the top position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dawkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cloudy Q Dawkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Kane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dawkins had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dawkins Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kane's back instead.

Kane drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dawkins pulls his leg out and moves away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mac Kane.
I think Kane has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
