Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyler Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronny Darko! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison shoots in and bounces Darko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Darko trying to keep a closed guard but Harrison is proving a slippery customer.
Harrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Darko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Darko pulls Harrison in close to prevent any damage. Harrison looking to pass the guard. Harrison throws a big right hand that misses. Harrison is fighting to break Darko's control of his arms but Darko is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Darko wants to control the position but Harrison says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison is keen to just control but Darko is a slippery customer. Darko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Harrison tries to pass the half guard into mount. Darko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Darko is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Harrison performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Harrison not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Harrison wants to control but Darko is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Harrison slows the pace down in half guard. Harrison winds up and cracks Darko with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Darko is looking to control Harrison's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Darko avoid being mounted? Harrison keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrison trying to pass the guard but Darko defending well. Harrison is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Darko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harrison. Harrison trying to mount his opponent but Darko defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison wants to take a breather but Darko is having none of it. Darko is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are battling for position here. Darko manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Harrison throwing strikes from guard but Darko blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Darko wants to sweep here but Harrison controlling him for the moment. Darko is trying to keep Harrison in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Darko looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Darko is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Darko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Harrison feints and as Darko raises his hands in defense, Harrison changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Harrison throws a big right hand that misses. Harrison pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Darko is keeping the position for now. Harrison is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Harrison wants to pass the guard but Darko is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darko moves into the clinch. Harrison trying to control the position but instead, Darko has worked for underhooks and has pushed Harrison into the cage. Darko dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Darko misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Harrison.

Harrison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Darko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Darko throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Harrison blocks it with crossed arms. Darko blocking some punches.

Harrison is pushing Darko up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Harrison goes for a takedown attempt but Darko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Darko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harrison.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darko moves into the clinch. Darko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Darko fails in his attempt to clinch. Tyler Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Darko throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Darko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Darko explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Ronny Darko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Darko goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Harrison slips under a jab from Darko. Darko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harrison swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fight stays on the outside here - Darko looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Darko throws a sloppy head kick and Harrison moves out of range easily. Ronny Darko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A good leg kick by Darko. Harrison moves into the clinch. Darko prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Harrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Darko which made him look bad. Darko throws a front kick that sends Harrison stumbling back into the cage. Darko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Harrison paws at him with a jab and circles away. Harrison steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Darko. That one must have hurt. Darko throws a nice inside leg kick. Darko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Darko darts in and clinches Harrison up against the cage. Darko scores a nice knee to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Harrison jumps guard but Darko stands there with Harrison around his waist. Harrison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Ronny Darko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Darko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
