Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sandy Jakh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Meyer!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jakh has Meyer up against the cage in a clinch.

Jakh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Meyer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Good control from Jakh.
Meyer is in bad spot here.

Jakh is persistently looking for the submission but Meyer is defending it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jakh doesn't have the hooks in and Meyer manages to turn into his guard.
Meyer wants to control from the top but Jakh keeps moving.

Meyer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jakh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Meyer passes Jakh's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Meyer seems to be working for a kimura but Jakh defends the submission attempt.

Jakh is breathing heavily.
Meyer is looking to advance position but Jakh won't allow it.
Meyer missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Meyer is working for a kimura but Jakh is defending it quite comfortably.
Meyer wants to free his trapped foot but Jakh is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Meyer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jakh is pressing down on Meyer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jakh has control of Meyer's left arm, preventing Meyer from doing any damage.
Jakh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jakh lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Meyer!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jakh wants to control the pace but Meyer is squirming around nicely.
Meyer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jakh sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sandy Jakh just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Jakh is looking to clinch but Meyer is avoiding it.

Jakh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Meyer!

Meyer is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jakh working for a submission but Meyer is keeping him at bay.

Jakh looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jakh wants to take his opponent's back but Meyer doesn't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sandy Jakh dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Meyer misses with a takedown

and Jakh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jakh.

Jakh lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jakh frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jakh controlling from mount.
Jakh trying to control but Meyer is having none of it.
Jakh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jakh controlling the position easily from mount.
Meyer sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Meyer is trying is best to control the position here.

Meyer has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Jakh. Oh but Meyer has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Jakh goes limp - he's gone! Meyer jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Vincent Meyer!
