Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Spicey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Roc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Spicey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Roc! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spicey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Roc tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spicey swivels and escapes. Spicey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Roc manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roc looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Spicey puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Roc looking for submissions off his back. Roc actively working from the bottom here. Spicey trying to mount his opponent but Roc defends it. Roc gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roc is looking for a triangle but Spicey pushes his legs off easily.
Spicey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roc swivels though and keeps the full guard. Spicey looking to sit in guard and control but Roc gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Spicey pulls Roc in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Roc throwing strikes from guard but Spicey blocks nicely. Roc passes easily into side control. Nice work. Roc is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spicey knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Roc is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spicey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Roc looks gassed! Spicey is looking for a sweep.

The ground and pound from Roc seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Roc decides to stand up, so the ref orders Spicey to his feet. Roc fails in his attempt to clinch. Roc drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Spicey tries to get back to half guard but can't. Roc goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Spicey has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Roc but great work by Spicey. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spicey stands up and beckons Roc to his feet. Spicey misses with a takedown and Roc counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Roc dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Roc drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roc throwing shots but missing, from side control. Roc throwing strikes but Spicey manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Roc manages to get back to half guard. Roc is looking to control Spicey's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roc avoid being mounted? Roc manages to get to full guard.

Spicey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spicey stands and throws Roc's legs to the side, diving into side control. Spicey stands up and we're back to a striking position. Roc with a poor takedown and Spicey counters with a takedown into side control. Spicey stands up and we're back to a striking position. Spicey gets in close and instigates a clinch. Roc can't get the takedown.
Roc has Spicey pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Spicey manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tony Spicey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Roc. Roc jumps guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spicey wants to control from the top but Roc keeps moving. Spicey wanted to stand there but Roc had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roc looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roc working a defensive guard here.
Roc is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spicey defends well. Spicey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roc is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Spicey is aware though and is defending well. Spicey gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Roc tries for a takedown but Spicey circles away easily so Spicey counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Spicey tries to free his leg and advance position but Roc is retaining full guard. Roc working for a triangle but Spicey defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spicey wants to control from the top but Roc keeps moving. Roc is looking for a triangle but Spicey pushes his legs off easily.
Roc escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Spicey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roc is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Spicey will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Roc thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Roc stops Spicey from standing up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roc drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Roc as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Spicey screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Roc! Nice submission victory there!
