Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brandon Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Wallhead! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallhead shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely. Williams clinches up with Wallhead and pushes him back against the cage. Wallhead wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams lands a good knee to the midsection. Wallhead won't want to take too many of those. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Williams missing with knees to the body.

Wallhead throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williams closes the distance and clinches. Williams drags the fight down to the ground.
Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position. Williams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams wants to sweep but no luck. Williams preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Williams pulls Wallhead in close to prevent any damage. Williams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wallhead is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams keeping moving, preventing Wallhead from controlling successfully. Wallhead wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard. Williams pulls Wallhead in close to his closed guard and prevents Wallhead from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wallhead fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brandon Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Wallhead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Williams tries to clinch there but Wallhead circles away.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wallhead sprawls well. Wallhead wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Wallhead moves out of range as Williams throws a body kick.
A head kick by Williams misses and Wallhead moves into the clinch. Wallhead is looking to control Williams's arms but Williams gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wallhead has his back to the cage. Wallhead tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Williams smiles and moves away.

Wallhead throws a half hearted mid kick. Wallhead is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wallhead throws a body kick that misses. Wallhead lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A slapping body kick lands there for Williams. Wallhead looks gassed! Williams misses with a series of wild punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Wallhead drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wallhead avoids it really well and circles away. Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallhead but Wallhead pushes him off and we're back to square one. Williams has Wallhead up against the cage in a clinch.

Wallhead jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Wallhead gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallhead doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallhead manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wallhead trying to stand up but can't free himself from Williams's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams is stalling in the full guard. Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wallhead has an active guard here but Williams has managed to pass into half guard.
Williams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallhead does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Williams is taking a breather. Wallhead says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wallhead wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Williams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wallhead can do to turn this around? Williams utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Brandon Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head punch blocked on the inside by Williams. Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Brandon Williams showed his dominance in that final round. Well Williams has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
