The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuassimo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brott.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Brott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kuassimo sprawls well. Kuassimo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brott gets slowly back to his feet.

Brott is nestled in close to Kuassimo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kuassimo has hold of Brott's hands but Brott slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Brott looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kuassimo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Brott shoots in and bounces Kuassimo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kuassimo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brott!
