Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaromir Jag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Soiyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaromir Jag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jean Soiyer! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soiyer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jag was covering up waiting for the punch and Soiyer finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jag looking to hit a scissor sweep but Soiyer is one step ahead there. Jag wants to stand but Soiyer is controlling the position. Jag pushes Soiyer off and gets back to his feet.
Jag shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Soiyer defends it nicely. Excellent takedown into side control there by Soiyer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soiyer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jag! Soiyer working for a submission but Jag is keeping him at bay. You get the feeling that Jag really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Jag tries to get back to half guard but can't. Soiyer avoids the attempt from Jag to control. Jag can't escape the position.
Soiyer trying to control but he's not successful this time. Soiyer has control of Jag's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jag regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jag wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Jag is breathing heavily. Jag tries to lock up and control but Soiyer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jag is in all sorts of trouble here.
Soiyer content just to control the position here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Soiyer tries to control but Jag wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jag can't escape the position.
Jag bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Jag has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Soiyer is proving hard to escape from. Jag in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jag postures up in Soiyer's guard and throws a big left but Soiyer blocks it. Jag is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Soiyer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Soiyer has escaped and now he's on top! Jag pushes Soiyer off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jag tries to clinch but Soiyer is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jag lands a head kick. Soiyer smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Soiyer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jag throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Soiyer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jag tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No luck for Soiyer with that takedown attempt. Jag tries to close the distance and clinch up but Soiyer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jag doesn't manage to clinch there - Soiyer circles away.
Soiyer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jag breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jag rushes Soiyer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Soiyer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jag lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Soiyer managing to block the knees to the body from Jag.

That's one minute gone in the round. Soiyer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jag is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jaromir Jag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Soiyer. Jag working Soiyer over with knees to the body. Jag stops a takedown attempt from Soiyer.
Jag tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Soiyer avoids it. Nice body punch from Jag - that landed with a thud.
Jag will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Soiyer up against the cage. Soiyer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Soiyer goes for a takedown attempt but Jag pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jag rushes Soiyer and presses him up against the cage. Jag breaks the clinch.

Jag looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Soiyer! Soiyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jag. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jag tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soiyer is squirming around, avoiding Jag's attempts to control the action. Jag controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Soiyer has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Jag's lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jaromir Jag just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Jag circles away from the clinch attempt and Jag counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Soiyer has hold of Jag's hands but Jag slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jag lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Soiyer trying to hold on to Jag's head to control him but Jag postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaromir Jag dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A head kick from Jag lands but Soiyer takes it in his stride. Jag tries to clinch up but Soiyer circles away and keeps his distance. Jag scores with a sloppy right hand. Soiyer should have avoided that one. Jean Soiyer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jag clinches up against the cage. Soiyer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A frustrated look appears on Soiyer's face as he tries to break the clinch. Soiyer is trying to break free. Jag scores a nice knee to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soiyer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jag walks away with a smile on his face. Soiyer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jag shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jaromir Jag overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jag looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Soiyer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jag works his foot free and advances to mount. Soiyer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jag trying to control but Soiyer is having none of it. Jag controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jag can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Soiyer is looking to escape. Jag looking to control and managing it successfully. Soiyer is squirming around, avoiding Jag's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jaromir Jag just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Jag fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Soiyer sprawls well initially but Jag persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jag wants to stand up but Soiyer has a hold of him and won't allow it. Jag thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Soiyer's head. Soiyer tries to roll over but Jag keeps him under control. Nice strikes from Jag there. Jag lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soiyer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jag is working away from the top position though. Jag tries to pass the half guard into mount. Soiyer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Soiyer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Soiyer tries for a takedown but Jag circles away easily and Jag counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jag. Jaromir Jag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Soiyer. Soiyer tries for a takedown but Jag manages to get underhooks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Soiyer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jag just stands there and leans against the cage. Jag lands a good knee to the midsection. Soiyer won't want to take too many of those. Jag goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
And that's the end of the fight! Jaromir Jag showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jag has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
