The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Nal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Alan Nal has been cut.
Silva scores with a shot to the body.
No joy there for Nal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nal takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nal takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nal is breathing heavily.
Nal ducks under a wild hook from Silva.

Silva has managed to clinch.
Silva lands an uppercut.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nal takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice combo by Silva! Oh, that's hurt him - Nal falls to the canvas and Silva follows him into side control.

Nal is rocked!
A big shot lands for Silva! That's hurt Nal! Will he recover? Silva fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
